GP Resilience Team

Are you available at short notice, on the Scottish National Performers List and keen to be part of the solution to the current GP Recruitment crisis?  If so, we are currently recruiting members to join our “Resilience Team”. The “Resilience Team” are responsible for providing immediate relief to Practices that require a solution to their GP staffing shortages and require support to stabilise and assist in making the Practice desirable for GPs considering Partnership or Salaried Vacancies.

Many of the Practices that are experiencing recruitment challenges will find that it is difficult to make their Practice an attractive proposition as they struggle to secure resilient GPs on an interim basis. This results continuity being compromised and the Practice becoming less desirable and making it even harder to recruit.

These Practices will require an immediate solution whilst a recruitment process is underway, therefore we are recruiting a team of GPs in Scotland that we can parachute into areas at short notice whilst we complete a recruitment process to provide a permanent solution.

Due to the GP shortage, long notice periods it often takes Practices between 5 – 9 months to secure a permanent solution to their staffing shortages.  Therefore, the need for an immediate solution relies on GPs being available at short notice but also recruiting a team of GP that can help turnaround Practices and make them a desirable proposition.
